Huh?! Yeah, that's what most people say when I exclaim I can only draw elephant butts.
It all started long ago...
When my Mom talks on the phone, or is bored at restaurants, or whatever...she doodles. I cannot take credit for the elephant butt...she alone is the creator of the elephant butt doodle. However, I've decided to carry on this new tradition of elephant butt doodles. But isn't it funny how you remember something from years ago and you don't quite remember it right? Yeah, that's what happened to my elephant butt.
Version 1 is how I've been drawing the elephant butt for years. It wasn't until recently when I asked my Mom to draw her elephant butt did I realize the error in my recreation. Version 2 is how my Mom draws elephant butts (the one shown here was drawn by me though). Ah, Trae forgot the head...how could I forget the head?
I guess she also occasionally draws a trunk too, but I can't remember how she does it.
So that's how the elephant butt doodle came to be and why Trae continues drawing them today. Oddly enough, I'm told my butterfly doodle looks strangely reminiscent of my elephant butt doodle...proving once and for all...I can't draw.
